January 2025January 2025 Grain Harvest and clean up at Bruce Rock, then a visit to family and then... Well, it was going to be, but it turned into finishing harvest and then outloading the Barley. And all was going well until...bugs! Bugs at another site meant their trucks came to us, and that meant checking the trucks and our Barley stack, and then, we found A bug, and then some more later on, and that put a stop to everything. So, after taking 80 tonnes out of the stack and putting it in once the short wall had been built, it was tarped up ready for fumigation. We then cleaned the area and finished work. Packing up we left Bruce Rock and headed for Perth to visit friends and family as originally planned. Mark Twain once said "...years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do that by the things you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbour. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover." - and so we will. |
